What does "Reiki" Mean?

The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words - Rei which means “Universe" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is "universal life force energy."

"Life force energy" flows through all of us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki is a natural healing practice which restores the natural energy balance in the body and works on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It is gentle and noninvasive and does not cause stress, discomfort or pain, but the results are very powerful.

What is Reiki Reflexology?

Reiki Reflexology is a combination of Reiki and Reflexology. Reflexology uses the pressure points on the feet to target specific areas in the body. The foot is a map of the body! Reflexology combined with the reiki energy (Reiki Reflexology) provides a unique and powerful healing session, guiding the universal energy through the client to where it is most needed. Reiki Reflexology uses only a gentle touch on the pressure points, with the reiki energy clearing blockages. Some very impressive results can be achieved with this. It treats symptoms of imbalance within the body and it can often assist where other methods of treatment have not been successful.

Reiki Reflexology provides deep relaxation and compliments the healing properties of traditional medicine, naturopathy, massage and other therapies. It can assist with injuries (sporting or otherwise), emotional and physical stress, acute and chronic illness, general pain and feeling unwell. (chronic illness will require regular sessions over several months)
